About Clarke Palmer

Clarke Palmer creates handcrafted beaded jewellery designed to hold meaning.

Each piece is carefully made by hand and can be personalised with gemstones, charms or letters - transforming a simple necklace or bracelet into something uniquely yours.

The brand was founded by Jenny Palmer, a British artist and designer whose creative life has spanned fine art, photography and fashion.

Jenny studied Fine Art and Photography before working within the fashion departments of leading publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and The Sunday Times. Her work later took her across the Caribbean, where she photographed and produced five books on St Lucia and the Cayman Islands, published by Macmillan.

Those years surrounded by colour, light and the natural beauty of the sea continue to influence the spirit of Clarke Palmer jewellery today.

The name Clarke Palmer honours Jenny’s grandfathers, Sydney Clarke and Sydney Palmer - (above) two remarkable men whose strength and character remain a guiding inspiration.

Today, every Clarke Palmer piece is handmade in the UK using carefully chosen materials, from luminous Czech Preciosa glass beads to semi-precious gemstones.

Some pieces are simple and effortless, designed for everyday wear. Others are created to mark life’s important moments - birthdays, relationships, family connections and personal milestones.

At its heart, Clarke Palmer is about jewellery that tells a story.

And sometimes, that story is yours.
